On 1 July, many cars have become more expensive due to changes in tax rules. To further take advantage of the old, cheaper prices, many people eat fast before this date still a new car, which is especially last Friday ended in a real rush to the Dutch dealers. But actually it was the whole month of June the legs from the body walk for car sellers. Compared to the same month last year, there were no less than 52.1 percent more new cars registered. In concrete figures, this amounts to 76,813 new cars against 50,499 units in June 2011, a record measured over the last ten years.
Risers
Throughout 2012 there until June 332,122 new cars were sold, representing an increase of 1.2 percent compared with the first half of 2011. So there are car brands this year yet do excellent business while others suffer from disappointing sales. For Lancia, they seem so far at least the loudest laugh; the brand plus 155 percent in the Netherlands, late into the actual numbers are still to be desired with only 574 sold new Lancia cars in the first six months of this year. At Chevrolet, the mood on both fronts excellent. The dealers of the American brand to look at an increase of almost 90 percent with a small eight thousand new registrations in 2012 so far. Mazda also occurs after several sluggish years’ suddenly good things (+78 percent) and this has everything to do with the popular CX-5.
When do almost all Kia models to suit so that the Korean brand again on a fantastic year of sales appears to be heading: they pluses far 57 percent. Lastly, the merry-minded German premium brands. Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz can look back on the first half of this year. Audi has a small hole compared to BMW drawn with rounded two thousand new cars sold more. Mercedes plus 23 percent, but is far behind (five thousand in comparison with BMW) on the aforementioned two.
Losers
Among the biggest losers include some brands which you expect in times where the consumer holds the hand on the purse. We call a Bentley, Maserati, Lotus and Aston Martin. Fire and bottom are Chrysler Maybach and that logic is obviously because they are no longer available in the Netherlands or even completely shut down. When Dodge and Daihatsu (from 2014 no longer available in Europe), they also heavy. Like Infiniti and Dacia also, but the latter still has at least prospect of improvement by the arrival of new models. Biggest name in the red Fiat is sitting against a deficit of 38 percent of 2011 looks. At Honda, and Alfa Romeo ditto. It is striking that even the burgeoning Hyundai to pros do not know whether the loss is nil with hundreds of new cars.
