Proton builds itself a Mitsubishi Evolution

00 proton jabat concept 1291409805 450x300 Proton builds itself a Mitsubishi Evolution
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is such a good car, it seems that Malaysian automaker Proton decided it ought to offer a version of its own. Sort of. While the company’s Jebat Concept, which was just shown off at the Kuala Lumpur Motor Show, is styled to look like the Evolution, it’s actually powered by the 237-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged mill used in the slightly less potent Ralliart model.
Nobody seems to know at the moment if the Jebat Concept has any shot at production, but its existence isn’t all that surprising considering that Proton just recently launched the Inspira, itself an almost exact copy of the standard Mitsubishi Lancer. In any case, it’s clearly differentiated from its siblings by virtue of its matte black front and rear fascias and side sills, along with a Proton-specific grille. See for yourself in the image gallery below.

2013 Mitsubishi Outlander
Mitsubishi Outlander 2013: All photos of the European version. Almost from now, when summer ends, we will start marketing in Europe of the new Mitsubishi Outlander 2013 with a sleek and simple, but with a great improvement in the equipment, trim levels and power of their mechanics incorporated . While in other European markets there are variety of engines, in Spain, so far, only incorporate the diesel engine of 150 hp, but for other markets mechanical do see the petrol version. Learn more about the 2013 Outlander ...

In early October or so will begin marketing in Europe of the new Mitsubishi Outlander 2013, where simplicity of design and progress in the finishes, equipment and frugality of their engines, the new model stand out from the Korean company.

In other markets
however, in other business areas, there will be two gasoline options. The range starts with a 2.0i 16v MIVEC with 145 hp and manual or CVT. And above, we find the improved 2.4 MIVEC 167 HP and automatic. As in the diesel versions will 2WD and 4WD.

Thus, the European version changed slightly compared to the Russian version or Japanese, and presents a qualitative leap in relation to the current is evident in the cabin of the SUV. Although simple in its aesthetics, but incorporates higher quality materials, too, standing in the automotive market as an alternative to the Chevrolet Captiva and Kia Sorento.

Technological equipment
the average SUV brand of Triple Diamond, is characterized by its complete equipment and technology items with the most novel.

Among other things, it comes with boot button, integrated touch screen navigation with hard drive, rear camera, warning of involuntary change lanes, tailgate robot, etc...

Motor and price
The range of engines on Russian soil is composed of two blocks of gasoline with 145 hp 2.0-liter and 2.4 to 167 hp MIVEC technology and the possibility of INVESS II automatic gearbox CVT, front-wheel drive or default choice, as with the Mitsubishi ASX, worth just over 24,000 euros.

In Western Europe, as I said in Spain, also carry a diesel engine rather balanced 150 hp. This engine comes in the most interesting, powerful and economical.

In Russia, for the time recommended prices range from € 25,625 of the 2.0 with 145 hp, and € 33,679 of the 2.4-liter with 167 hp. On Spanish soil, do we believe that there is too much difference in price. Lets wait a bit to inform you of everything. See all 2013 Outlander photos...
