2012 Chrysler 200 Review

Chrysler 200
2012 Chrysler 200 a decent car, most affordable midsize cars are better, The 2012 Chrysler 200 sedan comes in four trim levels: Limited, Touring, LX and S. The 200 Convertible is offered with the choice of power cloth top or retractable hard top.
The 2012 Chrysler 200 unchanged from last year, this review uses some test driver comments from prior reviews.

The front-wheel drive 2012 Chrysler 200 is offered with two engines. This engine is connected to six speed automatic, which one says lacks refinement.

The EPA rates the Chrysler 200 sedan’s fuel economy at 21/30 mpg city/highway with the four-cylinder engine and four-speed automatic. Chrysler 200 sedans with the V6 engine get 19/29 mpg.

Cabin volume in the 200 sedan is a modest 100.3 cubic feet — 2.2 cubic feet less than the Sebring and on the small side for this class. --Trunk volume in the 200 sedan matches the Sebrings underwhelming 13.6 cubic feet. That’s size of many compact car trunks. Competing family sedans generally offer more; the Ford Fusion beats the 200 by more than 20 percent.

All 200s but the LX sedan get a six-speed automatic. Chrysler says a dual-clutch automatic is coming for four cylinders, which should improve mileage. -- One caveat: I drove only the soft-top 200 convertible. Limited has an optional folding hardtop, which, in outgoing hardtop Sebring convertible, proved a creaky bedfellow.

A V-6 Limited sedan tops out around $27,000. The 200 convertible, meanwhile, comes in Touring and Limited trims. Chrysler introduced the 200 to the competitive midsize-sedan segment for the 2011 model year. Its offered as five seat sedan and a four-seat convertible and is available with four-cylinder or V-6 power. Competitors include the Toyota Camry and Chevrolet Malibu, also Honda Accord and Ford Fusion

Chrysler 200 is a soft, top-grade materials and the climate and audio controls are very user-friendly.--The Chrysler 200’s 13.6 cubic-foot trunk is small compared with other affordable midsize cars.--In most trim levels it teams up with a six-speed automatic and return 20/31 mpg, but at lower trim levels will be stuck with outdated four-speed automatic and is rated at 21/30 mpg.

The Touring swaps in the six-speed automatic and also adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, leather trim on the steering wheel and shift knob, automatic climate control, a vehicle information center with a trip computer and compass and two extra stereo speakers.

Increase for the leather seats Limited net, heated front seats, Bluetooth connectivity smart phones, 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, a SYSTEM UConnect Media Articles Search Google Voice command functionality and remote START.

Every Chrysler 200 model comes standard with dual front, side and side curtain airbags in addition to traction and stability control systems. The federal government gives the Chrysler 200 sedan four out of five stars in front crash tests and rollover risk tests, and three stars side crash tests, the four star rating overall. Convertible 200 has not yet tested by NHTSA.

Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the title of 2012 Chrysler 200 Sedan Top Safety Pick, it means that receives the highest score from either the front, side, rear and roof strength tests.

2012 Renault Fluence Z E Reviews

2012 Renault Fluence Z.E reviews and rumors Buyers will also lease the batteries with prices set at £ 75 (U.S. $ 120) per month based on 6,000 miles / 3 years. Standard features include alloy wheels of 16 inches, climate control, cruise control, Eco Drive Monitor and Tom-Tom LIVE Carminat satellite chip and charge connectors on both front fenders.

Renault Fluence Z.E. It’s based on a conventionally powered saloon that Renault sells in other countries called the Fluence. The Fluence costs £17,850 after you’ve deducted the UK government’s £5,000 subsidy for electric cars which ends in March 2012.
Renault Fluence Z.E

The press release adopts a rather stern tone reminding you that “when you purchase your Fluence ZE, you don’t actually buy the battery in the car. This remains the property of Renault via RCI Financial Services.”

The official combined range is 115 miles. However, Renault claims it could be as high as 125 miles or as low as 50 miles. And if you want an extra recharge point installed (perhaps at your office), Charge master will bill you an extra £799 for the privilege. Some countries also offer the option to swap your depleted batteries for a fully charged set. We’re also told that the Fluence has a smart feature which limits the speed of the car when the battery is close to dying.

The electric motor produces 70kw which is equivalent to 94bhp. The Fluence range is a few miles higher and it costs £8,000 less than the Leaf. At least the Fluence stands out given that the conventionally powered model isn’t sold in the UK.

At launch there will only be 20 Renault dealers who can service the Fluence. Renault estimates that electric vehicles will account for 10 per cent of the world market by 2020. As the C segment’s first production saloon electric vehicle, Renault Fluence Z.E. targets motorists and fleet operators who are looking for a status-enhancing vehicle that is both economical to run and respectful of the environment.

Renault Fluence Z.E. will be manufactured at the OYAK-Renault factory in Bursa, Turkey, on the same production line as the internal combustion engine-powered versions of Fluence. As the compact segment’s first three-box electric vehicle, it was imperative that Renault Fluence Z.E. should be recognizable at first glance. To distinguish it from the internal combustion engine-version, it comes with a package of specific features and details that unmistakably associate it with Renault’s electric vehicle range.

At the front, the Renault logo, fog lamp surrounds, headlamp brows and lower part of the headlamp mask are all picked out in a blue-hued color. Renault Fluence Z.E.’s lines are taut and fluid, while the rear quarter panels have been harmoniously extended in order to absorb the additional length resulting from the longer rear overhang. The design of the rear lights, which extend forward either side of the car, also contributes to the overall balance of Renault Fluence Z.E.’s lines. Several body colors are available, including Energy Blue, a new color that is specific to Renault’s electric vehicle range.

Renault Fluence Z.E. is conclusive proof that electric vehicles do not have to be small, narrow and uncomfortable city cars with a limited touring ability.Renault Fluence Z.E.’s interior is based on the same layout as the internal combustion-engine version. Renault Fluence Z.E. targets families looking for a spacious, comfortable vehicle, and total boot space amounts to 300dm3 (VDA/ISO). The electric version of Renault Fluence is likely to figure on the shopping list of many fleet operators thanks to its low running costs.

Chevy Traverse

Chevy Traverse, a crossover seven-to eight-seat vehicle that one of the best in the line of Chevy today, thanks to the security and good features. Its not a minivan, but almost as functional as one, even without the sliding doors.

Note, consumers do not have to choose the navigation system to the camera back. The Chevy Traverse also use a small mirror is integrated into the side mirrors to reduce blind spots.

Traverse styling is offensive. It deals with the mission, we think but not much passion in the form of slightly contoured, gifted to be found in the truck like the GMC Acadia flowing chunky and Buick Enclave, Buick arch Chevy Traverse platform to share. Chevy is a simple, elegant, and even parts, and which has its own charm.

2012 Buick Verano Review

The all-new 2012 Buick Verano certainly isnt the first compact sedan from Buick. The Verano is, in all fairness, a completely different vehicle. Inside, the Verano gets rich leather, infotainment standard voice-activated touch screen, and heated steering wheel.

Especially from the side, the Verano tends to look like a large sedan—in particular, Buicks Lacrosse—sized down. Four-wheel disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power, even if the pedal feels of an old sponge Lux. Verano 2012 luxury sedan than a compact, premium models from among the many brands, phenomenal refined, comfortable, quiet interior. Tuning calm are characteristic of the Buick, and that many of them describing the personality of Verano. Equipment-wise, its all here: ten standard airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking with brake assistant, and as well as the Star Auto Accident Response. Assist rear parking is provided.

For just $23,470, the base 2012 Buick Verano comes equipped with an list of impressive features include: automatic dual zone climate control, steering-wheel controls, Bluetooth, input USB, Buick Intellilink touch screen interface, and includes voice control Pandora and Stitched apps. A heated steering wheel and navy system are among multiple choices, with the full price of Verano well below $30k.

The Verano is somewhat related to the Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan, but shares virtually no parts--and no sheet metal--with the Chevy. But like the Cruze, the Buick Verano looks like a big sedan, sized down. The small windows at the front of the front doors fit in Style, and also help with visibility.

The 2012 Buick Verano is hardly accelerating heartbeat, but we have not had time to have thought that part of the Verano mission statement (its extreme quiet might have something to do with it, honestly). The 2012 Buick Verano is shaping up to be one of the safest bets among medium size sedan, with top notch crash test ratings from IIHS along with a very well-stocked list of safety features.

Approaching from behind in the parking garage, a 2012 Buick Verano looks suspicious its scowling chrome taillight eyebrows. Buicks cockpit school of interior design is well-represented in the plush Verano interior. On the road, the "Buick Verano" really shines. More important for the market Buick after, quiet luxury cars actually Verano. Nicely loaded up as tester, it is sparsely populated a premium slot small-car niche for an attainable $27,000 and change. Here we have a really nice small car that happens to wear a Buick badge, and its priced right in my opinion. It feels upscale for a small, Cruze-based sedan with admirably low NVH levels.

As noted, the car drives well (it is really almost too responsive to steering input), good driving. The styling is Buick strong (Id argue that maybe Buick is trying a little too hard with the oversized grill treatment), and the interior is well trimmed and well executed. Enough room inside for a small car does not feel cramped.

I had an interesting conversation with a friend last night about the Verano, which is clearly part of Buicks plan to attract younger buyers to the brand. Moving onto the car itself, it surprised me. Its true that the Cruze sits on a worthy small-car platform from GM. The Buic Verano rolls down the expressway with a planted feeling and soaks up small bumps with ease, with only the smallest thuds reverberating into the cabin. The bottom line is that the Verano is a nice addition to the Buick lineup.

And the Buick Verano is blessed with creature comforts the Cruze lacks, such as softer interior trim, sim-wood paneling, dual-zone automatic climate control, and push-button starting and parking-brake actuation. There is no rear-seat HVAC registers.  Versus two targeted competitors Acura’s TSX and Lexus IS250, Buick Verano  two decibels quieter during cruising (68 dBA) and three to six decibels quieter accelerating (72 dBA).

The feel through the Buick Verano’s steering, suspension, and mostly high-strength–steel body structure is distinctly Germanic. Four-wheel disc brakes collaborating with Continental 235/45R-18 four-season radials mounted to forged aluminum wheels stopped our test car in 175 feet with little hint of fade.

Mazda 5
Mazda 5 Summary

Mazda 5 Interior
Revised Mazda5 also includes a high-styled interior, although the holding is more than the current Mazda3. This is partly good: only a hood over the instrument, which increased to the point, it seems excessive. Nacelles Instruments protect from glare, so that the hood is not only futile, it also needs to show. Class one interesting detail: the red piping and stitching on black leather chair that Grand Touring. But the eye of the designer is still needed in other parts. Its too flat panel doors and center console is too plain and looks like an aftermarket accessory cheaper than the factory. Some work hard black plastic does not look cheap, but not many things that include 2012 Mazda5s interior. Overall, the interior of the C-Max is more interesting and better appointed, would be too stylish

Mazda 5 performance
Every 2012 Mazda 5 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 157 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual standard on the Sport, while the five-speed automatic is optional on the Sport and standard on others. In Edmunds performance testing, 5 Grand Touring runs from zero to 60 mph in 9.5 seconds - slower than the minivan, SUV and compact are a lot of the most typical. With either transmission, fuel economy estimates of 21 mpg city/28 highway.

Mazda 5 Safety
Standard safety features include ABS brakes, side impact air bags for front seats, side curtain airbags for all three rows and an Electronic Stability.

As a material consideration
Mazda 5 2012 certainly is not for everyone. Some people really need the space is roomy, and there is something to be said for V6 power on hilly terrain or with a full load of people on board. Mazda 5 is also not available with certain features that are common to ordinary minivans, such as power-operated sliding doors, glass or factory-installed navigation and entertainment systems. In contrast, all-new 2012 Ford C-Max - also a mini minivan made on the same platform with the Mazda 5, which has all sorts of electronic features. However, the Mazda 5 has everything you need for passengers and cargo as well as enough space for most young families.

2012 Hyundai Equus Reviews

2012 Hyundai Equus
2012 Hyundai Equus
2012 Hyundai Equus hits dealerships this summer. Not so long ago, Hyundai was shot for the moon to develop a lineup with the rear-wheel-drive Genesis - a car that is meant to emulate the middle-luxury cars like the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class for less money than a good sedan. Power rear window glasses to the side which is now part of the Ultimate trim level features.

The Hyundai Equus resembles a larger, bejeweled Genesis; its probable that passers-by will mistake the two. Although the Hyundai Equus shares its cohorts platform, it measures 7.2 inches longer. 2012 Hyundai Equus has 5.0-liter cylinder bore was increased from 92 mm to 96 mm for a total displacement of 5.0 liters (5,038cc).

Most notably, the 2012 Equus will now feature Hyundai’s most powerful engine ever, the new direct injection 5.0-liter Tau V8 engine.

2012 Hyundai Equus is the third rear-wheel-drive product in Hyundai’s lineup and boasts an excellent 52/48 front-to-rear weight distribution for exceptional handling and more refined steering characteristics. 2012 Equus reduces interior noise levels and improves ride and handling with a stiff, light-weight body structure. On winding country and mountain roads, the 2012 Equus benefits from the precise wheel control delivered by its five-link front and rear suspension geometry. The design of the 2012 Hyundai Equus is handsome and pleasing to the eye. Named a 2011 TOP SAFETY PICK by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the 2012 Hyundai Equus continues the Hyundai tradition of offering key safety technologies, with features such as Electronic Stability Control, nine airbags, electronic active front head restraints, lane departure warning system and smart cruise control. 2012 Hyundai Equus even has a Vehicle Stability Management system that optimally manages ESC, the electronic parking brake, smart cruise control and the seatbelt tensioning system for optimal safety.

2012 Hyundai Accent Reviews

2012 Hyundai Accents
2012 Hyundai Accents
2012 Hyundai Accents are two versions. Which pair is better than 5-door hatch, a spacious and versatile? While the Accents nose is one of a batch that looks weak, from there to the work of both rear 5-door. Together with a strong current line-up, the previous Accent was ashamed blight on various company products, and competition from the Ford Fiesta, Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris means Hyundai Accent will need to ensure next is the winner right from the start.

Exterior
Fiesta accent seems to be very similar, such that in her rearview mirror, we often thought to rival States. Upon closer examination, have the entire Hyundai styling cues, along with details such as lights and grille similar to the larger Elantra. However, Hyundai Accent seems to be larger than the dimensions suggest a factor that will help reduce the stigma of fun to drive sub-compact.

Inside
Hyundai Accent interior is always getting better. You can still see where the money deposited is always in some materials, but the design and layout of gauges and controls are logical Accent attractive and easy to use ... more in a number of more expensive machines. 2012 Hyundai Accent interior is much simpler than the Fiesta, the lack of integration of SYNC and give a little more intuitive buttons and controls. Hyundai confirmed that the interior is a "premium" offer because "piano black" trim smattered around the cockpit, and we honestly could not help raise our shoulders.

Performance
The new Hyundai Accent gets a sophisticated machine. Hyundai has a direct injection engine in the 1.6-liter four-cylinder, good for 138 horsepower. Its a lot of strength in this segment. And it will be class-leading EPA-estimated highway miles 30/40 mpg city / when it works well as a standard six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Significantly exceed the current competition, but the same as the 1.4L turbocharged engine that will come Chevrolet Sonic - even though the car was musters significant lb-ft of torque from 148. Unlike the rest of the competition, Accent will provide 30-mpg in the city and 40-mpg

There are two things that came first and the second is on the way and the level the sound. When use the manual six-speed automatic features I was testing. A number of cars in this class have a characteristic or hill start assist, which is standard on automatic models. Not much that four quiet, but polite isolated from the interior, which has about the same effect. We hope that these guidelines are somewhat more precise shifter.

Interior Cargo
Such as performance and design of the exterior, the inside, even reminded me of a more substantial vehicle. The whole fabric, buttons and panels from quality plastic. Textured dashboard and sleek design and futuristic look. Another interesting point is less like a room for cargo and the number of interior points too high for the Accent, with some rather inexpensive both available at Hyundai. The company said that the Accent offers more cargo room than the Nissan Juke and interior volume greater than the Audi A4; no small feat for a vehicle with the footprint is quite minute.

The decision to choose
If you think subcompact, the Hyundai Accent is an attractive product at the right price and equipped with features that consumers gravitating toward droves. But rather than sell on price, or "just good enough" to make the cut, the Accent is a legitimate competitor in the field, something that could be considered to be the vehicle of choice in the segment that will be more important and more because of rising gas prices and declining personal wealth

Price
The price Hyundai Accent at or slightly below those of the competition, ranging from $ 12,445 for the 4-door with manual transmission and suppress the ceiling $ 16,795 with full-out SE 5-door automatic. And, do not forget easily the best guarantee class accent.

Competitors
Strong competition can come up with a Kia Rio - a stock car with a Hyundai Accent 2012 most fundamental, but can end up just a little more retail.

In front of him, Lincoln MKX has a version of what Lincoln calls split-wing grille. Lattice similar to that in large measure brand MKS luxury sedan, and was not flooded at the front of such a crossover design is not in full-size cross Lincoln MKT. The MKX appears displaying almost mesh-like grill, but Lincoln hopes that the all-new split-wing grille MKX will deliver the required style stands out as a luxury CUV. The MKX is a bit shy for cargo space, compared with about a five-passenger crossover, but the console, door panels and glove box provide additional memory profitable. The whole-new Lincoln MKX is also the first vehicle equipped with a new system I am interfacing Lincoln.

Performance
When compared with the outgoing model, MKX has gained some important technologies such as the new 3.7-liter V6. There are many advantages to owning the 2012 Nissan Altima. Not a lot is new with the Nissan Altima. The 2012 Nissan Altima is available in three trims: 2.5, 2.5 S and 3.5 SR. The upscale 3.5 SR trim adds a sport-tuned suspension, a V6 engine, a sunroof, mirror-mounted turn signal repeaters, dual-zone automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels and heated side mirrors. Are you the facelifted 2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG

2 450x270 Are you the facelifted 2012 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG?
Now that we’ve seen the facelifted 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class in its bread-and-butter C250, C300 and C350 forms, it’s time to start thinking about the holier-than-thou, unabashedly hardcore C63 AMG. The folks at Germany’s EvoCars have stumbled upon what appear to be production-spec images of the AMG-laden 2012 C-Class, and while the brash bulginess of the current car has been toned down somewhat, there’s certainly nothing sedate about this new menacing Merc.
The biggest question about the next-generation C63 is whether or not Mercedes-Benz will ditch the current car’s glorious naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 in favor of the new twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter mill that will be used in the CL63, S63 and CLS63. EvoCars states that only the new C63 AMG Coupe will receive the 5.5-liter heart, and that power of the 6.2 will be bumped up for use in the sedan. Still, with either engine, we’re sure the C63 will be as lively as ever out on the road.

2012 Volkswagen Beetle

2012 Volkswagen Beetle
2012 Volkswagen Beetle
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will be fully redesigned. Then there was the vehicle sequel, the 1998 New Beetle. Now for 2012, theres finally a new Beetle to replace the New VW Beetle, though it will just be called the Beetle. With the 2012 Beetle, Volkswagen has taken a cautious approach in terms of design. The new Beetle coupe is 3.3 inches wider and 6 inches longer than the outgoing model. Inside, VW has drawn upon elements from the original Beetle, such as incorporating two glove boxes.

Later in the model year the Beetle TDI will debut, boasting VWs clean and thrifty (estimated at 40 mpg for highway fuel mileage), 140-hp turbo diesel engine. An all-new 2012 Beetle goes on sale this fall. The "2012 Beetle" was revealed at Aprils New York International Auto Show.

The Volkswagen Beetle is all grown up. The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle has updated lines evoking those of its Audi TT cousin, including a lower roofline, integrated spoiler and LED-ringed headlamps. Also ditched is the "New" part of the Beetle name. Volkswagen of America now refers to it as the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle.

Three engines will be available on the 2012 Beetle. Volkswagens 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine makes 170 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to either a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder TDI diesel engine produces 140 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. The TDI powertrain is expected to achieve 40 mpg highway, 29 mpg city and 33 mpg combined. The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle will be available in late September or early October 2011.

In 1998, the New Beetle was launched at the Detroit auto show. The car was as cheerful as VWs dealers, who finally had a car delivered to their lots that they could sell for way over sticker.

Beetle production will continue to take place at VWs Puebla, Mexico, plant, alongside the 2011 Jetta.
The front end draws from the horizontal lines that characterize VWs current portfolio—without abandoning the trademark round headlights, of course. Powertrain for this front-driver will come from VWs vast parts bin, with the naturally aspirated, 115-hp, 2.0-liter four likely serving as the entry-level engine for the U.S.
market. This platforms possibilities are virtually limitless: There could be an R version with some 270 hp, a return of a TDI model, all-wheel-drive versions, or a hybrid. While the entry-level Beetle will likely keep its Aisin-designed automatic, the turbocharged models will get VWs dual-clutch automated manual transmissions.

2012 Camry Reviews

2012 Camry
2012 Camry
The 2012 Camry is all-new. Rated at 22/33-mpg last year, the new Camry manages a 25/35-mpg rating. That’s identical highway mileage to the previous class-leader, the Hyundai Sonata, but represents a 3-mpg advantage in the city.

Helping SE models hit the mark is a beautiful interior, with the optional (but must-have) leather and ultra suede combo on the seats, plus a stitched leather dash top. A new suspension geometry is designed to improve handling, while also increase the car’s stability.

Perhaps the single largest factor in modernizing the Camry is the new Display Audio system that’s standard on all but the entry-level L and LE Hybrid models. This WIL (Whiplash Injury Lessening) seat is just one of many safety features on the Camry, including a “Smart Stop” brake override system, the expected stability control, traction control and tire pressure monitoring systems, plus 10 airbags. In addition, Toyota is also offering a Blind Spot Monitoring system.

The model we’ve yet to touch on is the Camry Hybrid, which easily represents the most significant improvement over its predecessor, and for good reason. The previous Camry Hybrid was first eclipsed by the Fusion Hybrid and then by the Sonata Hybrid, but this latest version shows Toyota’s expertise in blending gasoline and electric technology, delivering a 43/39-mpg fuel economy rating, with an average of 41-mpg. That change? A larger displacement engine. Using a 2.5-liter 4-cylidner, mated to Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive system it not only gets those class-leading fuel economy numbers, but delivers solid acceleration with 200-hp on tap.

There’s a lot to like about the SE model, but if you’re looking for fuel economy without compromises, it’s easy to see that the Camry Hybrid could become the daily driver of choice for the average American car buyer. It’s no revolution, just a solid improvement on an already great car – although Toyota can at least lay claim to being a fuel economy leader. Plus, there’s that excellent hybrid model, which could be the deciding factor in helping the Camry hit the top sales goal for 10 straight years.

The 2012 Toyota Camry is fully redesigned. The 2012 Toyota Camry doesnt aim to find out, either. For one thing, the 2012 Toyota Camry offers improved versions of last years engines: a respectably powerful 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. Theres also a Camry Hybrid, covered in a separate review.

Suspension improvements have been made to enliven the Camrys handling dynamics. The 2012 Toyota Camry will be offered in L, LE, SE and XLE trim levels. The Camry LE adds auto headlamps, remote keyless entry, steering-wheel-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls and the six-speaker Display Audio system featuring a 6.1-inch touch screen.

The SE includes a sport-tuned suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, heated exterior mirrors, unique interior and exterior styling treatment, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, sport seats and the Display Audio system. SE V6 models get the upgraded Display Audio system that adds navigation, HD radio, satellite radio, voice recognition and Entune smartphone and Web integration.

XLE V6 models get a rearview camera, auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery and heated driver and front passenger seats. A premium 10-speaker JBL audio system integrated with a 7-inch touch screen hard-drive-based navigation system is also optional on XLE V6 models.

The 2012 Toyota Camry is offered with a choice of two engines. Both engines drive the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. Toyota says the four-cylinder will return an estimated 35 highway mpg, while the V6 -- with nearly 100 more hp -- will achieve 30 mpg on the highway.

The 2012 Toyota Camry comes with a battery of standard safety features, including antilock brakes with brake assist, stability control, front- and rear-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, and knee airbags for driver and passenger, the latter new for 2012. Inside, the Camrys cabin feels slightly roomier. Among other amenities, top Camry trim levels get an eight-way power driver seat, while all Camry models now offer a 60/40-split fold-down rear seat.

Weve only had the opportunity to briefly drive the new 2012 Toyota Camry.

2012 Honda Pilot Reviews

Honda Pilot is a spacious, efficient mid-size crossover. Honda delivered on its promise of offering the most fuel-efficient eight-passenger crossover; with the new Pilot netting an 18/25 mpg rating for two-wheel drive models (4WD-models return 17/24 mpg). The 2012 Honda Pilot comes in four different trim levels, including the LX, EX, EX-L and Touring.

The EX adds a tri-zone automatic climate control system, a power drivers seat with 10-way power adjustment, a security system, XM Radio, body-colored side mirrors and door handles, alloy wheels, roof rails, fog lights, an exterior temperature indicator, and a Home Link Remote System, and more. Additional EX-L features include leather-trimmed seating surfaces, heated front seats, a 4-way power front passengers seat, a one-touch power moon roof, an automatic-dimming rearview mirror and the availability of either the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System or the Honda DVD Rear Entertainment System with a 9-inch screen. The Honda Pilot EX-L with Navigation adds an upgraded navigation system with a higher VGA resolution replacing the previous QVGA display and an internal hard drive that replaces the previous models DVD-based system. The top-of-the-line Pilot Touring includes the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with rearview camera, a premium audio system with 10 speakers, the DVD Rear Entertainment System, two-position memory seats, roof rails, corner and backup sensors and side-mirror integrated turn indicators.

The Honda Pilot protects its occupants with three-row side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor, drivers and front passengers side airbags, active front seat head restraints and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution and brake assist. Vehicle Stability Assist, Honda speak for electronic stability control, is standard on all models.
 Honda Pilot
2012 Honda Pilot

Although proprietors lover their vehicles, the actual 2011 Honda Pilot has a few shortcomings. Fuel economy isn’t great, either, with the Pilot managing just 17 mpg town and 23 mpg highway. Inside design modifications focus on instrument panel refinement and a much more intuitive switch design. With regard to 2012, sound system updates upon Honda Pilot EX and EX-L versions include a 2 GB CD-Library (CD-L) and Bluetooth Audio Streaming, combined with the addition associated with Wireless Bluetooth HandsFreeLink to people trim amounts. Thanks to a few small changes inside, outside and under the hood for 2012, the Honda "Pilot" remains a top performer among large SUVs with three rows of seats. The Pilot starts at $28,470 for the LX trim level and also comes in EX, EX-L (the L is for leather) and Touring trim levels.

The Honda Pilots enhancements for 2012 prove that little things mean a lot. The smaller Kia Sorento is rated 20/26 mpg (22 mpg combined). The all-wheel-drive Pilot rates 17/24 mpg (20 mpg combined). It also has a feature we found critical in this SUV class: sliding second-row seats. That being said, the Pilots third row isnt the easiest to get into overall. We were thrilled to see that three child-safety seats fit in the second-row seat. Our test Pilot EX-L had quality leather in the first two rows (vinyl in the third), and the front seats provided notable comfort.

The Pilots boxiness pays off once again in the cargo hatch. The Highlander, which is shorter than the Pilot, beats it with 95.4 cubic feet of maximum volume but is tighter behind the third row, with just 10.3 cubic feet.
Having 2,000 pounds of towing capacity with front-wheel drive and 4,500 with all-wheel drive, the Honda Pilots limits are on the higher side of SUVs in this class. Heavier, rear-wheel-drive models, such as the Dodge Durango, tend to have higher towing capacities.

In Insurance Institute for Highway Safety testing, the Honda Pilot earned the top score of Good in frontal, side and rear crash tests. The Pilot has frontal airbags, front-seat-mounted side-impact airbags and curtain airbags that cover the side windows along all three rows of seats in a side impact or rollover. As is federally required of all 2012 models, the Honda Pilot has standard antilock brakes and an electronic stability system. All Pilots have power windows, with one-touch up/down for the front doors, and power locks with remote keyless entry. New for 2012, the Pilot EX adds Bluetooth hands-free cellular and audio streaming and 2 gigabytes of digital music storage.

The Honda Pilot Touring includes leather, the navigation system and the rear entertainment system, plus it adds a few more features, including drivers seat-position memory, sonar parking sensors, and a premium stereo with additional speakers. To select a trim level and compare features,

2012 GMC Acadia SUV Review

GMC Acadia crossover seating eight people, a great spot for large families. GM offers side / curtain airbags, stability control, traction control, four-wheel drive anti-brake system, tire pressure monitoring and OnStar service. In any Acadia, both the second and third rows of seats fold almost flat to boost cargo storage. From 20 cubic feet with the third-row seat in the upright position, the Acadia‘s storage capacity blooms to more than 115 cubic feet when the rear two rows of seats are folded.

The 2012 GMC Acadia sits comfortably positioned near the top of the affordable midsize SUV class for solid performance, a roomy interior (including a better-than-average third row), and a muscular exterior with a hint of aggression. The Toyota Highlander Hybrid will return better fuel economy, rated at 28 mpg city and highway. There are five trims for the 2012 Acadia: SL, SLE, SLT-1, SLT-2, and the Denali. The GMC Acadia Denali trim is downright flashy with dark tinted windows and 20-inch alloy wheels. LATCH child seat connectors are included in the second row outboard seating positions. Keyless entry, cruise control, and interior chrome trim are also standard.
GMC Acadia
2012 GMC Acadia

One more level, the SLT-1, nets automatic tri-zone climate control, a premium Bose audio unit, leather appointed first and second row, and heated front seats for $38,800. Sky rocket up to the top-of-the-line luxury GMC Acadia Denali for $43,900 and those front seats are heated and cooled, theres a head-up display, two panel powered sunroof, leather wrapped wheel, wood accents, and sound dampening.

The fact that a rearview camera is standard on all models above the base significantly increases the Acadias safety profile. While the 2012 GMC Acadia isnt cheap, you do get what you pay for with this vehicle. Its large, roomy, and well-appointed with a solid safety profile.

The SLE trim has all the standard features of the SL, with the addition of Bluetooth for Phone, Remote vehicle start, Power rear lift gate, Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, halogen fog lamps, rearview auto-dimming mirror, available audio system with rear seat DVD entertainment, Body color body side molding, Rearview camera, 8-way driver power seat and a 2-way front passenger power seat.

The range-topping SLT2 trim throws in a cargo package (cargo shade and cargo net), a convenience package (remote start and Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist), which are both options on the lesser two trims, driver and passenger express up and down power windows, 3-prong household- style, 115-volt power outlet, power rear lift gate, washer nozzles and heated windshield, as well as power adjustable and folding, heated outside rearview mirrors with integrated mirrors with drivers side auto-dimming and memory.

2012 Ford C Max Review

Ford C-Max
Ford C-Max
Summary
Ford C-Max seven vehicles that meet the same floor area with a seat Toyota Corolla. Access to the rear seat is to use a sliding door, which displays the minivan. Cars such as the C-Max is very popular in Europe (where it was made), with sliding doors and up to three rows of seats that can accommodate up to seven, the C-Max compete in a limited segment of open road in the United

With a great light front trapezoidal air intake, fog the triangular portals and grill thin, C-Max looks like a super-sized version of the Ford Fiesta subcompact. 2012 Chevrolet Sonic Reviews

The Chevy Sonic very much relies on Chevy’s new design language, with a broad front end and prominent bow-tie logo spanning the grille. The  Chevrolet Sonic’s core competency lies on the road, where it delivers a driving experience far beyond our expectations.

We were really impressed with the Chevrolet Sonic’s chassis, which manages to strike a wonderful balance between a smooth ride and great handling. Absent are the common plagues of body roll, inadequate damping or any dead spots in the steering, and Chevrolet deserves serious praise for making such an inexpensive car so rewarding to drive.

The  Chevrolet Sonic’s road manners when not being flogged are also remarkable – there is very little road noise, the ride quality is consistently smooth and comfortable, the engine never feels strained or overworked.
Even the 6-speed automatic (generally a flawed piece of equipment on GM models) is solid. With the 1.4-liter getting 29 mpg in town and 40 mpg on the highway, versus the 1.8-liter’s 25/36 mpg rating, we don’t see why anyone would opt for the 1.8-liter despite the $700 premium – though an automatic 1.4-liter won’t be available until the 2012 calendar year.

The base Sonic LS comes well equipped with features like alloy wheels, anti-lock brakes, power locks and windows, 10 airbags and keyless entry. LT and LTZ models can be equipped the 1.4-liter engine, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, OnStar, cruise control, fog lamps and bigger wheels. There’s no question that the Chevrolet Sonic is a very compelling choice in the subcompact segment.
Chevrolet Sonic

Of course, demand for fuel-efficient vehicles tends to rise and fall with fuel prices, as well as with public confidence in the way things are going. Still, small-car sales have been rather weak even for todays down market. Like Fords comparable 2011 Fiesta and redesigned 2011 Focus, these products are not only a hedge against another spike in gas prices. The 2012 Chevrolet Sonic reflects these trends, as we know from various recent intel and the production-preview Aveo RS Concept revealed at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. For starters, the Chevrolet Sonic will be an inch or two longer, wider, and lower than the vintage-2004 Aveo (freshened for 2008-09). As a result, sources say, this subcompact will grow to about the same size as Chevys Cobalt compact car (recently replaced by Cruze).

The new Chevrolet Sonic will come in either a four-door sedan or a five-door hatchback. Whatever style you choose, the Chevrolet Sonic will still come with a number of new style features, including a a new aggressive-looking front with motorcycle-inspired twin-headlamps and a dual-element grille, compact taut body panels with a rising shoulder line and short rear overhangs, bulging fender flares, round tail lamps, and an upward sweeping character line.

Despite boasting of similar styling features, the sedan and hatchback versions of the Chevrolet Sonic are also distinctively different. As for the interior, the Sonic’s cabin will feature a Spark-inspired cockpit that comes with a two-tone design and class-leading spacious rear seat. The other engine variant of the Chevrolet Sonic is an Ecotec 1.8-liter engine where it can be paired with either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission system.
