2011 Ford Taurus Review

The 2011 Ford Taurus is a full-size sedan that seats five people. It is available in SE, SEL, Limited and SHO trim levels. Standard equipment on the SE includes 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, keyless entry with an access keypad, cruise control, a six-way power driver seat (manual recline), a 60/40-split-folding rear seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, steering-wheel audio controls and a six-speaker stereo with CD/MP3 player and an auxiliary audio jack.

The SEL adds 18-inch wheels, automatic transmission paddle shifters, heated mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, upgraded cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and satellite radio. The 2011 Ford Taurus is powered by a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 263 hp and 249 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard with this engine and all-wheel drive is available on SEL and Limited trim levels. All-wheel drive drops it to 17/25/20.

The Ford Taurus SHO features a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 making 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. Every SHO is all-wheel drive. Despite its impressive output, estimated fuel economy is the same as the regular all-wheel-drive Taurus.

2011 Ford Taurus

Every 2011 Ford Taurus comes standard with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. Optional safety features include a blind-spot warning system, pre-collision warning system, a cross-traffic warning system (when reversing) and rear parking sensors. A rearview camera is standard on Limited and SHO models and optional on the SEL.

Although the 2011 Ford Taurus can hardly be called exciting, its a big improvement over the pre-2010 version. The Taurus SHO benefits from a lot more power, but its a little less transformational than in past SHO Taurus sedans—in part because the SHO puts the power to the road with such stoicism and a lack of pulse-raising excitement. Front seats in the Ford Taurus are a little constrained by the large console, though it has great room for tall drivers. The Ford Taurus is strong on safety. The Taurus SHO also offers an optional rearview camera.

The long list of standard features on the 2011 Ford Taurus means even base versions are well-equipped. The Taurus SE gets an AM/FM/CD player with MP3 playback; tilt/telescope steering; a 60/40 split-folding rear seat; a power driver seat; and power locks, windows, and mirrors.

The 2011 Ford Taurus offers good performance and a stylish design, as well as excellent cabin electronics and safety scores. When Ford redesigned the Ford Taurus in 2010, it added some much-needed life (and competition) to the affordable large car class. With the updated Taurus, buyers now have two very good options when shopping large cars.

2011 Honda Fit Review

2011 Honda Fit
2011 Honda Fit

The 2011 Honda Fit comes only a five-door hatchback and is Hondas lowest-priced car for the U.S. market.

Even at first glance, its easy to pick out the 2011 Honda Fit as prioritizing function over form. A five-speed automatic is also offered and comes with paddle-shifters in Honda Fit Sport trims. Relative to other cars its size, the Honda Fit feels remarkably comfortable at 80 mph.

The 2011 Honda Fit offers an especially strong body structure, along with a long list of safety features including front seat side airbags, full-length side-curtain bags, and anti-lock brakes. The 2011 Honda Fit isnt a stripped-down small car; both the Fit and Honda Fit Sport models include a pretty generous list of features. Air conditioning; power windows, locks, and mirrors; and an MP3-compatible CD sound system are included with the base Fit. The Honda Fit Sport gets larger 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, keyless entry, a security system, and USB connectivity for the sound system, along with sporty cues throughout. Offered only on Honda Fit Sport models is a package adding the navigation system. For 2011, cruise control, a USB sound-system input, and keyless entry have been made standard all Fit models.

Offering one of the largest cargos holds in the class, innovative interior storage options, good fuel economy and spunky performance, the 2011 Honda Fit is a hard to turn down. The 2011 Honda Fit is a press favorite and has received numerous accolades from the automotive industry. Of course, the Fit isn’t perfect. One of the most prominent reviewer complaints concerns the Fit’s buzz engine. "The Honda Fit is pretty near the top of my favorite-cars list,” says the Los Angeles Times.

The Fit’s biggest drawback is its price. The Fit’s price is average for hatchbacks. Other hatchbacks on the market include the Ford Fiesta hatchback, which starts at $15,120, just 20 bucks more than the Honda Fit. The Fiesta’s shaking the automotive industry with high fuel economy ratings, stellar performance and uncommonly high build quality. Kia is also introducing the Forte Five-door Hatchback. You can also save money by looking at used 2009 Fits and 2010 Fits still on dealer lots.

It serves as Hondas entry-level model but has an aggressive design that Honda describes as "super-forward aero-form." Electronic stability control is standard for 2011 on all Honda Fit models.

2011 Ford Taurus SHO Review

2011 Ford Taurus Sho Review

The 2011 Ford Taurus SHO has an unassuming exterior but delivers impressive horsepower under the hood. A small but very vocal contingent of car nuts is inexplicably passionate about classic Ford Taurus SHO. After experiencing the performance and the brilliance of the 2011 Ford Taurus SHO, the only thing one might find a bit odd is that the car is called Taurus. Fortunately, Ford is a company with considerable institutional memory, so when they brought the Taurus back—this time as Fords top Sean—they resurrected the Ford Taurus SHO iteration of the car as well.

More than just a terrific performer though, our test Ford Taurus SHO came loaded with the latest high-tech safety features. The blind spot indication system illuminates indicators on the appropriate side mirror when another car is in a blind spot. Put the Taurus in reverse, the rear window shade retracts (if deployed) and the cars touch screen displays video from a camera on the trunk. The Taurus has easily paired Bluetooth capability for hands-free calling with Microsofts SYNC telematics system. The cars 12-speaker Sony audio system features iPod connectivity, a CD/DVD player and a hard drive for storing music.

Ford Taurus SHO
When Ford decided that it would essentially relegate its Taurus to fleet sales beginning with a 2000 refresh, the SHO was an early catastrophe. Clamoring SHO nuts begged Ford for a rewrite, which finally arrived as a 2010 promising a new recipe for success.

We finally took Ford up on the opportunity to spend some quality time in a 2011 Ford Taurus SHO, even though we refuse to pronounce as show. Sorry, Blue Oval. The Ford Taurus SHO might seem like just a jazzed up full-size sedan, but it’s much more than that. Bowing for 2010, the latest Taurus follows in a long line of large Ford family sedans that once totally dominated the automotive landscape in America.

This latest car reprises the somewhat historic SHO nameplate, but instead of the naturally aspirated V6 and V8 front-wheel-drive models that preceded it, the new car boasts a twin-turbo Ecoboost V6 and all-wheel-drive. Undoubtedly, the Ford Taurus SHO is loaded with solid tech for the money. It boasts Ford’s still-advanced second-generation infotainment system with Sirius Travel Link updates, a high-power Sony audio system and, if you tick all the right boxes, heated, ventilated and massaging seats covered in leather and synthetic suede.

Ford aimed to make the Taurus SHO feel like a personal luxury vehicle geared at satisfying the most demanding and hedonistic needs. Ford can do great interiors at this price point – check out the Ford Flex platform mate, for one. Ford’s engineers carefully tuned the intake and exhaust to deliver a mild and refined growl that perfectly suits the vehicle’s mission. The SHO neutral all-wheel-drive system seemed best tuned for outright grip, with each wheel eagerly scrabbling for traction when driven aggressively. Combine the Ford Taurus SHO so-so steering with substantial body lean and we felt compelled to drive at no more than 7/10ths, where the big sedan seemed happiest.

2012 Chrysler 200 Review

Chrysler 200
2012 Chrysler 200 a decent car, most affordable midsize cars are better, The 2012 Chrysler 200 sedan comes in four trim levels: Limited, Touring, LX and S. The 200 Convertible is offered with the choice of power cloth top or retractable hard top.
The 2012 Chrysler 200 unchanged from last year, this review uses some test driver comments from prior reviews.

The front-wheel drive 2012 Chrysler 200 is offered with two engines. This engine is connected to six speed automatic, which one says lacks refinement.

The EPA rates the Chrysler 200 sedan’s fuel economy at 21/30 mpg city/highway with the four-cylinder engine and four-speed automatic. Chrysler 200 sedans with the V6 engine get 19/29 mpg.

Cabin volume in the 200 sedan is a modest 100.3 cubic feet — 2.2 cubic feet less than the Sebring and on the small side for this class. --Trunk volume in the 200 sedan matches the Sebrings underwhelming 13.6 cubic feet. That’s size of many compact car trunks. Competing family sedans generally offer more; the Ford Fusion beats the 200 by more than 20 percent.

All 200s but the LX sedan get a six-speed automatic. Chrysler says a dual-clutch automatic is coming for four cylinders, which should improve mileage. -- One caveat: I drove only the soft-top 200 convertible. Limited has an optional folding hardtop, which, in outgoing hardtop Sebring convertible, proved a creaky bedfellow.

A V-6 Limited sedan tops out around $27,000. The 200 convertible, meanwhile, comes in Touring and Limited trims. Chrysler introduced the 200 to the competitive midsize-sedan segment for the 2011 model year. Its offered as five seat sedan and a four-seat convertible and is available with four-cylinder or V-6 power. Competitors include the Toyota Camry and Chevrolet Malibu, also Honda Accord and Ford Fusion

Chrysler 200 is a soft, top-grade materials and the climate and audio controls are very user-friendly.--The Chrysler 200’s 13.6 cubic-foot trunk is small compared with other affordable midsize cars.--In most trim levels it teams up with a six-speed automatic and return 20/31 mpg, but at lower trim levels will be stuck with outdated four-speed automatic and is rated at 21/30 mpg.

The Touring swaps in the six-speed automatic and also adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a power driver’s seat, leather trim on the steering wheel and shift knob, automatic climate control, a vehicle information center with a trip computer and compass and two extra stereo speakers.

Increase for the leather seats Limited net, heated front seats, Bluetooth connectivity smart phones, 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, a SYSTEM UConnect Media Articles Search Google Voice command functionality and remote START.

Every Chrysler 200 model comes standard with dual front, side and side curtain airbags in addition to traction and stability control systems. The federal government gives the Chrysler 200 sedan four out of five stars in front crash tests and rollover risk tests, and three stars side crash tests, the four star rating overall. Convertible 200 has not yet tested by NHTSA.

Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the title of 2012 Chrysler 200 Sedan Top Safety Pick, it means that receives the highest score from either the front, side, rear and roof strength tests.

2011 Kia Soul Review

Kia Soul
Kia Soul

Inside, the Kia Soul isnt nearly as groundbreaking. Most Kia Soul wagons will sport a four-cylinder engine with 2.0 liters of displacement, 142 horsepower, and 137 pound-feet of torque; but theres also a 1.6-liter four-cylinder making 122 horsepower and 115 pound-feet of torque. All Souls ride atop a conventional McPherson strut front and torsion-beam rear suspension, and they have four-wheel disc brakes. Base and mid-line Souls wear 15- and 16-inch wheels. The Kia Soul Sport leads the performance pack with 18-inch wheels and different suspension tuning. Dimensionally it checks in at 161.6 inches overall, 70.3 inches wide, 63.4 inches high, and it has a 100.4-inch wheelbase.

The front seats also have active head restraints, which help curb whiplash. Options on various Kia Soul models include a sunroof, that sound-system upgrade, and more than 60 accessories, from styling add-ons to interior trim. Two different Special Edition Soul models will be offered in the 2011 model year; both will be based on the Soul+ trim and include automatic climate control plus unique exterior styling and special accessories.

Debuting in 2010, the Kia Soul is a compact, 5-seat boxy hatchback designed for the young and young at heart. It is available in four trim levels: base, + (plus), (exclaim), and Sport.

The Soul’s spirit dwells somewhere between its snippy exterior and its comfortable cabin. Standard interior features include air conditioning, cruise control and a 4-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with auxiliary audio jack. Exterior features include wheels, headlamps, doors and doorknobs. The Soul!

Having debuted in 2010, the little has changed for the 2011 Kia Soul. Other than the Scion xB and Nissan Cube, there are few cars that share the 2011 Kia Soul’s funky shape. Kia uses this box car’s hip style, unique exterior colors and affordable price to target young buyers. The Soul’s pep-less performance hasn’t inhibited its success in the industry. The Kia Soul has received a slew of awards. AAA even named the Kia Soul a Top Pick for Dog Owners.

Before you buy a Kia Soul, you should know that KIA recalled about 24,000 Soul vehicles to fix interior lighting panels that can cause fires. Although it’s more expensive than the Kia Soul, the Scion xB has bold exterior styling that reviewers like. The Soul is a hatchback, but it doesn’t offer lots of storage space.

The Kia Soul comes in four well-equipped trim levels -- a base edition, the Soul Plus (+), Soul Exclaim (!), and Soul Sport. The Soul was new for 2010, and the 2011 Kia Soul is very similar to last year’s model.

2013 BMW 6 Series Review

2013 BMW 6 Series Review - New year 2013 is time to have new car. New car that fit for both your style and budget is already released.  2013 BMW 6 Series is one of many car that fit for you, no doubt to buy this car as one of your best ridding. Comes with new performance made 6 Series leading sedan models. Now BMW 6 Series available in models both coupe and convertible. Looking from the 640i and 650i Coupe and Convertible designs, over to the all-new, very curvaceous Gran Coupe four-door, and to the super-performance M6, the BMW 6-Series collection seems to be extremely different in objective, and attractive to remarkably different types of luxury-car customers. But across the whole 6-Series collection, what these designs do have in typical is that theyre all extremely significant.
2013 BMW 6 Series Coupe and Convertible
Find it out here..

Engine and Performance

It uses the same 560-horsepower, twin-turbo V-8 that, on top of providing more power than the confident V-10, profits better gas mileage. The generate tires (rear) are the same, as are the seven-speed twin-clutch transmitting and the Michelin Lead Extremely Game tires.

Also identical is the "Are we really going that fast?" impact caused by bursts of wide-open accelerator. Its the item of a demure engine observe, awesome damper control, and limitless twisting. At 4490 weight, the M6 is 106 weight more than the already portly M5, and, as you might anticipate, it content a little bit more slowly speeding figures consequently "slightly slower" though, in this case, indicates attaining 60 mph requires 3.9 a few moments.

Fortunately, stopping performance is easier, and quite amazing. We documented a best quit from 60 mph of 105 legs. And despite being... lets say, lightness-challenged, the M6 published a best lap around our determine eight of 24.6 a few moments and produced regular horizontal speeding of 0.98 g. It drives originally, but becomes amazingly fairly neutral after the tires heated up. Quick twisting distribution thanks to nearly instant-on turbochargers indicates big, great smoky powerslides are one company media of the right your pedal away.

Feature design

With a information thats otherwise lower, longer, and broader than the past 6-Series, these designs simply look hunkered-down and ready for action, but the top side and back end design can keep you with very different opinions. An strongly creased bonnet, converging into the wide nasal area, and a edition of BMWs unique renal grill, completely gives the 6-Series designs a furrowed brow; and at the same time, that competitive bonnet design tends to have a weight losing impact on the top side end. Whether you go for the Coupe, convertible, or Gran Coupe, you get the same hunkered-down look from the back--where the 6-Series designs look most like a grand-touring sports car.

2012 Buick Verano Review

The all-new 2012 Buick Verano certainly isnt the first compact sedan from Buick. The Verano is, in all fairness, a completely different vehicle. Inside, the Verano gets rich leather, infotainment standard voice-activated touch screen, and heated steering wheel.

Especially from the side, the Verano tends to look like a large sedan—in particular, Buicks Lacrosse—sized down. Four-wheel disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power, even if the pedal feels of an old sponge Lux. Verano 2012 luxury sedan than a compact, premium models from among the many brands, phenomenal refined, comfortable, quiet interior. Tuning calm are characteristic of the Buick, and that many of them describing the personality of Verano. Equipment-wise, its all here: ten standard airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking with brake assistant, and as well as the Star Auto Accident Response. Assist rear parking is provided.

For just $23,470, the base 2012 Buick Verano comes equipped with an list of impressive features include: automatic dual zone climate control, steering-wheel controls, Bluetooth, input USB, Buick Intellilink touch screen interface, and includes voice control Pandora and Stitched apps. A heated steering wheel and navy system are among multiple choices, with the full price of Verano well below $30k.

The Verano is somewhat related to the Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan, but shares virtually no parts--and no sheet metal--with the Chevy. But like the Cruze, the Buick Verano looks like a big sedan, sized down. The small windows at the front of the front doors fit in Style, and also help with visibility.

The 2012 Buick Verano is hardly accelerating heartbeat, but we have not had time to have thought that part of the Verano mission statement (its extreme quiet might have something to do with it, honestly). The 2012 Buick Verano is shaping up to be one of the safest bets among medium size sedan, with top notch crash test ratings from IIHS along with a very well-stocked list of safety features.

Approaching from behind in the parking garage, a 2012 Buick Verano looks suspicious its scowling chrome taillight eyebrows. Buicks cockpit school of interior design is well-represented in the plush Verano interior. On the road, the "Buick Verano" really shines. More important for the market Buick after, quiet luxury cars actually Verano. Nicely loaded up as tester, it is sparsely populated a premium slot small-car niche for an attainable $27,000 and change. Here we have a really nice small car that happens to wear a Buick badge, and its priced right in my opinion. It feels upscale for a small, Cruze-based sedan with admirably low NVH levels.

As noted, the car drives well (it is really almost too responsive to steering input), good driving. The styling is Buick strong (Id argue that maybe Buick is trying a little too hard with the oversized grill treatment), and the interior is well trimmed and well executed. Enough room inside for a small car does not feel cramped.

I had an interesting conversation with a friend last night about the Verano, which is clearly part of Buicks plan to attract younger buyers to the brand. Moving onto the car itself, it surprised me. Its true that the Cruze sits on a worthy small-car platform from GM. The Buic Verano rolls down the expressway with a planted feeling and soaks up small bumps with ease, with only the smallest thuds reverberating into the cabin. The bottom line is that the Verano is a nice addition to the Buick lineup.

And the Buick Verano is blessed with creature comforts the Cruze lacks, such as softer interior trim, sim-wood paneling, dual-zone automatic climate control, and push-button starting and parking-brake actuation. There is no rear-seat HVAC registers.  Versus two targeted competitors Acura’s TSX and Lexus IS250, Buick Verano  two decibels quieter during cruising (68 dBA) and three to six decibels quieter accelerating (72 dBA).

The feel through the Buick Verano’s steering, suspension, and mostly high-strength–steel body structure is distinctly Germanic. Four-wheel disc brakes collaborating with Continental 235/45R-18 four-season radials mounted to forged aluminum wheels stopped our test car in 175 feet with little hint of fade.

2011 Scion tC Review

2011 Scion tC
Most reviewers aren’t pumped about the redesigned tC. Scion tried to accomplish lot in updating the 2011 tC while still keeping the tCs price under $20,000. "Therein lies the problem, because the 2011 Scion tC is a car without a singular mission,” Edmunds writes. Reviewers agree that the engine upgrade from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine for the 2010 tC to a 2.5 four-cylinder is a huge improvement. The 2011 tC, however, doesn’t drive like a sports car. Buyers will also appreciate three audio head units. The base tC features a 300-watt audio system, auxiliary audio and USB input ports, which includes iPod connectivity. Scion straightened the 2010 tC’s curvy exterior to produce a more aggressive look. Other Cars to Consider

The base Mazda3 starts at $15,450, $2,320 less than the six-speed manual transmission tC.
The Civic and Fiesta also save buyers money. The 2011 Scion tC is a two-door coupe. The tC’s 2.5-liter engine four-cylinder engine produces 180 horsepower and 173 pound-feet of torque.

The good: The 2011 Scion tC presents a stylish exterior, and it is easy to upgrade the cabin electronics. iPod integration comes standard.
The bad: The Bluetooth phone system is nearly Stone Age in its features, and the audio system destroys mids and highs.

The bottom line: The 2011 Scion tCs tech, both cabin and drive train, lags behind similarly priced competition, but the car is a solid platform to upgrade. Witness the Scion tC, which in a single generation went from svelte to bulky. Aftermarket-friendly

Staying true to Scions original mission, iPod integration comes standard in the tC, and the cabin tech is as upgradable as ever. A big, multifunction knob controls volume with dial movement and also operates as a joystick to tune radio stations. The Pioneer head unit has three audio settings under the banner of Scion Sound Processing, labeled Hear, Natural, and Feel. Depending on how you look at it, the new 2011 Scion tC is either the second-generation tC or the ninth generation of the Toyota Celica.

The new tC rides on the same 106.3-inch wheelbase, stretches out the same 174.0 inches long overall and stands the same 55.7 inches tall. The front track width increases from 59.3 to 60.6 inches, and the rear goes from 59.3 to 61.4 inches. The larger-diameter and wider tires make the new tC seem somehow more voluptuous. The brakes are bigger too, with front ventilated discs increasing from 10.83 to 11.65 inches, and the solid rear discs growing from 10.59 to 10.98 inches.

The tCs new 2.5-liter engine is virtually identical to the four-cylinder engine offered in the 2010 Toyota Camry SE. The Camry SEs engine is rated at 179 horsepower at 6000 rpm, with 171 lb-ft of peak torque at 4100 rpm. Thanks to slightly different engine-control computer programming and different intake and exhaust systems, the tC develops one extra horsepower at 6000 rpm and two more lb-ft of torque at 4100 rpm. Moreover, a new six-speed manual and automatic transmissions take advantage of the new engines muscle.

The Drive
Tuned for midrange power and solid torque production, the tCs powerplant isnt a screamer like the rev-happy, 8000-rpm redline, 197-horsepower 2.0-liter engine in Hondas Civic Si.

As before, the tC comes with a panoramic sunroof as standard equipment. With the roll-up shade retracted, the roof gives the tCs interior a nice roomy feel.

For buyers in the tCs target demographic, an eardrum-crushing sound system is a must. The tC comes standard with 300-watt system with a 160-watt Pioneer-branded head unit and a 140-watt two-channel amplifier feeding eight speakers. The tCs exterior may promise excitement, but the chassis delivers more comfort than thrills.

Toyota claims a 0-to-60 mph time of 7.6 seconds for the manual transmission version of the new tC and 8.3 seconds for the automatic. Like the first Celica, the tC is sort of a five-sixth-scale Mustang, and like the Mustang, the tC is still accessible to young buyers. According to Toyota, the median age of tC buyers is 26, and its easy to see why. The 2011 Scion tC is a good idea today.

Scion has always maintained that tC stands for Touring Coupe.

2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Subaru Impreza WRX STI, having the highest trim line of compact cars Subaru Impreza, Subaru cars produced by Japan. In the late 1980s, Subaru Tecnica International creates Subaru (STI) Division to coordinate the construction of the FIA World Rally Championship and other motor sports activities.

Mazda 5 Interior
Revised Mazda5 also includes a high-styled interior, although the holding is more than the current Mazda3. This is partly good: only a hood over the instrument, which increased to the point, it seems excessive. Nacelles Instruments protect from glare, so that the hood is not only futile, it also needs to show. Class one interesting detail: the red piping and stitching on black leather chair that Grand Touring. But the eye of the designer is still needed in other parts. Its too flat panel doors and center console is too plain and looks like an aftermarket accessory cheaper than the factory. Some work hard black plastic does not look cheap, but not many things that include 2012 Mazda5s interior. Overall, the interior of the C-Max is more interesting and better appointed, would be too stylish

Mazda 5 performance
Every 2012 Mazda 5 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 157 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual standard on the Sport, while the five-speed automatic is optional on the Sport and standard on others. In Edmunds performance testing, 5 Grand Touring runs from zero to 60 mph in 9.5 seconds - slower than the minivan, SUV and compact are a lot of the most typical. With either transmission, fuel economy estimates of 21 mpg city/28 highway.

Mazda 5 Safety
Standard safety features include ABS brakes, side impact air bags for front seats, side curtain airbags for all three rows and an Electronic Stability.

As a material consideration
Mazda 5 2012 certainly is not for everyone. Some people really need the space is roomy, and there is something to be said for V6 power on hilly terrain or with a full load of people on board. Mazda 5 is also not available with certain features that are common to ordinary minivans, such as power-operated sliding doors, glass or factory-installed navigation and entertainment systems. In contrast, all-new 2012 Ford C-Max - also a mini minivan made on the same platform with the Mazda 5, which has all sorts of electronic features. However, the Mazda 5 has everything you need for passengers and cargo as well as enough space for most young families.

The MKX appears displaying almost mesh-like grill, but Lincoln hopes that the all-new split-wing grille MKX will deliver the required style stands out as a luxury CUV. BMW 3 Series Touring Review

BMW 3 Series
The outstanding performance, the composition of the carrier, handling, cargo volume, design, performance and consumption do not support criticism.

Since 1987 the BMW 3 Series Touring is the sportiest premium family. But now even more convenient with great performance and design study. The transmission system is best the eight-speed automatic transmission, available in Europe for all engines.

When it comes to deciding who invented the sportiest premium family-that is, a comprehensive model and stylish, but unpretentious in their capacity-, BMW is quite clear.

Is that times and tastes are changing and perhaps for that reason the new BMW 3 Series Touring is committed to a more "practical" than all his predecessors. The truth is that it was OK to become the new benchmark in its class. Input, since the introduction of the current generation BMW 3 Series has to familiarize with new sets of figures that have nothing to do with the old and intuitive tradition followed by the Bavarian house.

While agreeing with the last presentation of 3 touring seven years ago under the hood of the 325i was staying even a six-cylinder engine in line with a smooth and wonderful acoustics, the current 328i is committed to reducing engine capacity: 2 liters of 4-cylinder engine capacity enough. Or put another way: 245 hp and less than 7 liters of fuel are almost impossible to achieve.

Performance and design
hence, their services are also impeccable. This engine biturbo 2.0 starts spontaneously and balanced and, if necessary, has no difficulty in pushing up to 250 km / h this family of 1.6 tons. The design of the new BMW 3 Series Touring convinced from the beginning. While doing so can not hide that this is a four cylinder, it is easy to forget its less smooth ride when you consider the excellent power development.

In terms of design and shows the elongated bonnet saloon, which is made possible by a longitudinally mounted engine and rear drive. The roof line drops not so pronounced as to limit freedom of movement at the height of the head and the back shows clear references to the already convincing 5 Series Touring.

Inside
the interior and especially the board completely convinced. The center console is again facing the driver as is usual with BMW. This usually is topped by a separate screen to control the browser, radio, media player, board information, as well as Twitter, Facebook and Internet radio latter also through the iPhone application.

The center console is again facing the driver as is usual with BMW. The driving position is no problem thanks to the wide ranges of adjustment both the seat and the steering wheel. And passengers on the back can not complain, since it will now have 17 mm more space to the knees, than before.

After folding rear bench in the ratio 40:20:40 hides a trunk with 500 liters of load capacity, which is accessed through a pretty good load level relatively low.

Optionally, the tailgate can be opened easily with a simple movement of the foot, a provision that after the introduction of the current Audi A6 Avant has become an indispensable component of the list of extra high-end family.

Quality materials and interior finishes are of very good quality and only occasional minor detail is obvious in the negative. Thus, the plastic covers of the holes of the door knobs they look surprisingly cheap and the linings of the rings to the boot partition net are too thin and fragile.

Transmission
Compared with the previous model, the engineers were able to reduce their weight by up to 40 kg and this despite having a better safety features and comfort. The transmission system is best the eight-speed automatic transmission is available for all engines. Any combination of engine and gearbox are equipped with automatic stop and start. The transmission system is best the eight-speed automatic transmission is available for all engines and already managed to convince the 1 Series.

This comfortable gearbox costs about 2,000 euros more, but makes additional investment imperceptible change processes, if necessary, in manual mode and full load can be surprisingly athletic. In addition, we also liked the way Eco-Pro.

The characteristic diagram of the accelerator is much less radical, changes to higher gears take place before, above the 2,000 laps, and the kick-down form occurs later than in other modes.

Fascinating
Regardless of whether the driver chooses a style of comfortable or sports gear, undercarriage convinces at both ends. With the rear-wheel drive, its responsive steering and smooth curves drawn highly accurate and free of any change of direction caused by excessive torque on the driveshaft. Even at high speed cornering or sudden load changes the driver remains master of the situation and the agile steering precision BMW 3 Series Touring love again and again.

2012 GMC Acadia SUV Review

GMC Acadia crossover seating eight people, a great spot for large families. GM offers side / curtain airbags, stability control, traction control, four-wheel drive anti-brake system, tire pressure monitoring and OnStar service. In any Acadia, both the second and third rows of seats fold almost flat to boost cargo storage. From 20 cubic feet with the third-row seat in the upright position, the Acadia‘s storage capacity blooms to more than 115 cubic feet when the rear two rows of seats are folded.

The 2012 GMC Acadia sits comfortably positioned near the top of the affordable midsize SUV class for solid performance, a roomy interior (including a better-than-average third row), and a muscular exterior with a hint of aggression. The Toyota Highlander Hybrid will return better fuel economy, rated at 28 mpg city and highway. There are five trims for the 2012 Acadia: SL, SLE, SLT-1, SLT-2, and the Denali. The GMC Acadia Denali trim is downright flashy with dark tinted windows and 20-inch alloy wheels. LATCH child seat connectors are included in the second row outboard seating positions. Keyless entry, cruise control, and interior chrome trim are also standard.
GMC Acadia
2012 GMC Acadia

One more level, the SLT-1, nets automatic tri-zone climate control, a premium Bose audio unit, leather appointed first and second row, and heated front seats for $38,800. Sky rocket up to the top-of-the-line luxury GMC Acadia Denali for $43,900 and those front seats are heated and cooled, theres a head-up display, two panel powered sunroof, leather wrapped wheel, wood accents, and sound dampening.

The fact that a rearview camera is standard on all models above the base significantly increases the Acadias safety profile. While the 2012 GMC Acadia isnt cheap, you do get what you pay for with this vehicle. Its large, roomy, and well-appointed with a solid safety profile.

The SLE trim has all the standard features of the SL, with the addition of Bluetooth for Phone, Remote vehicle start, Power rear lift gate, Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, halogen fog lamps, rearview auto-dimming mirror, available audio system with rear seat DVD entertainment, Body color body side molding, Rearview camera, 8-way driver power seat and a 2-way front passenger power seat.

2011 VW Eos Review

Volkswagen’s refreshed Eos convertible has finally arrived for the U.S. market. Mirroring the changes previously detailed for the European model, the new U.S.-spec VW Eos features tweaks both inside and out. All VW Eos are equipped with leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel and shift knob.

The latest VW Eos features a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC turbocharged and intercooler four-cylinder gasoline engine exclusively. The latest VW Eos also features the automatic Direct-Shift Gearbox transmission as standard. This six-speed transmission incorporates an automatic dual-clutch system that instantly engages and disengages gears without the need for a clutch pedal. Unlike any other convertible, the VW Eos features a fully-functional sunroof with shade, allowing an open-air experience when the convertible top is up.

Standard fog lamps now feature integrated cornering lights to heighten safety on all models. Beyond the talented top, the VW Eos provides an enjoyable drive thanks in part to the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine. The Mini Cooper?
VW Eos

The 2011 Volkswagen Eos is a front-wheel-drive, two-door hardtop convertible with seating for four. The Lux model adds daytime running lights, power-folding heated outside mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming rearview and drivers outside mirrors, burled walnut cabin accents, leather upholstery, power passenger seat, power front seat lumbar adjustments and an easy-entry function for rear passengers.

Options for the Comfort are few and include ground effects (lower body skirting), a rear lip spoiler and 18-inch wheels. All 2011 Volkswagen Eos models are powered by the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which makes 200 hp and 207 pound-feet of torque. Lux models are available with the dual-clutch automated manual only.

The fuel economy ratings for the 2011 VW Eos with the manual are 21 mpg city/31 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined.
Standard on all VW Eos models are antilock disc brakes, stability control and front seat side airbags.

In Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash testing, the 2011 VW Eos earned the top rating of "Good" for both frontal-offset and side-impact tests.

The chief attraction of the VW Eos is its five-piece retractable hardtop. The 2011 Volkswagen Eos is designed for those who want a relaxed touring convertible. Both transmissions are nicely executed, but we suspect the typical VW Eos buyer will be happier with the automated manual. As expected, the retractable hardtop provides coupe like isolation when the weather prevents top-down motoring.

The 2011 Eos is Volkswagen’s inexpensive alternative to the BMW 3-series convertible or the Lexus IS convertible. It’s possible that you’ve never heard of the VW Eos, Volkswagen’s midsize convertible. Ford Mustang? Mini Cooper? The 2011 Volkswagen Eos isn’t cheap; the base model starts at $32,940. If you can afford a more expensive car, try convertibles like the BMW 3-Series and the Lexus IS. The BMW 1-Series convertible also falls in this category, but it’s smaller and less expensive. The base price is $34,500.

It’s not a luxury convertible like the VW Eos, but its standard V6 engine pumps out 300 horsepower. The Mustang Convertible won’t get more than 19/30 mpg city/highway. Another sporty but small option is the Mini Cooper Convertible.

2012 Ford C Max Review

Ford C-Max
Ford C-Max
Summary
Ford C-Max seven vehicles that meet the same floor area with a seat Toyota Corolla. Access to the rear seat is to use a sliding door, which displays the minivan. Cars such as the C-Max is very popular in Europe (where it was made), with sliding doors and up to three rows of seats that can accommodate up to seven, the C-Max compete in a limited segment of open road in the United

exterior
With a great light front trapezoidal air intake, fog the triangular portals and grill thin, C-Max looks like a super-sized version of the Ford Fiesta subcompact. Around back, the lights behind the back seat beside a big window. Ford C-MAX successfully combines compact body height and crossover SUV is very effective,

2011 Honda Insight Review

The 2011 Honda Insight has a silhouette looking a lot like that of the Toyota Prius. The underpinnings of the 2011 Honda Insight are all familiar: It essentially takes the front end of the Honda Fit hatchback and mates it with the Honda Civic Hybrids version of Integrated Motor Assist (IMA), a mild-hybrid system that features a 1.3-liter VTEC four-cylinder engine, supplemented with an electric motor system and together making 98 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque. The 2011 Honda Insight might be a little lower and more rakish than other small cars, but aside from tight rear headroom it offers good comfort. Slotting below the Insight LX, the base Insight is new this year, at $18,950, and includes remote entry, automatic climate control, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, power windows and locks, and a two-speaker CD sound system.
Honda Insight
2011 Honda Insight

Honda brought hybrid technology to America back in 1999 with the groundbreaking, and incredibly insightful, Honda Insight. That first Insight pioneered the aerodynamic tear-dropped silhouette that would not appear on the Toyota Prius until 2004. That first Honda Insightt introduced the concept of a gasoline engine assisted by an electric motor powered by a rechargeable battery pack. It had electric steering, regenerative brakes, automatic stop/start technology, and a whole bunch of software to help the driver understand what was happening, and how it was affecting fuel economy. Sales were limited by its two-seat configuration, lack of cargo capacity, and rather high price tag. Today, the Insight suffers severe myopia. The Insight is no longer insightful, an old-school mild hybrid that competes in a world of full hybrids that can travel as fast as 62 mph without using a drop of gas. Ultimately, the customer is king, and right now the Insight is missing its target.

The Honda Insights EPA-estimated mileage is 40/43 mpg city/highway, which in hybrid terms isnt particularly impressive. The larger Civic Hybrid is rated 40/45 mpg, and the 2009 Prius rates 48/45 mpg. The company promises the Insight will be the most affordable hybrid on the market. Despite the FCX resemblance, the Insight shares its underlying structure, from the front bumper to the A-pillars, with the Honda Fit. The Insight is more than 10 inches longer than the Fit and about 5 inches shorter than the Civic Hybrid.

Like the Civic and Fit, the Honda Insight qualifies as a compact, not a subcompact, based on the EPAs interior volume criteria. Designed specifically as a hybrid, it packages the cabin space, gas tank and high-voltage battery with its associated electronic components more efficiently than a modified Fit could. At 85 cubic feet, the Insight has a bit less passenger volume than the Honda Fit and Civic Hybrid, which both have 91 cubic feet. On the upside, the Insight has more cargo space behind its backseat than the Civic Hybrid has in its trunk: 15.9 cubic feet versus 10.4 cubic feet. Plus, the rear seats fold in the Insight, as they do in the Prius, for maximum cargo volume of 31.5 cubic feet. All other hybrid cars to date — including the original Insight and the first-generation Prius — have sacrificed cargo space or folding seats, or both. The Fit maxes out at 57.3 cubic feet of cargo volume, so it has an edge over the Insight in cargo as well as passenger volume.

The Honda Insight has 1 inch less headroom than the Civic and 2 inches less than the Fit, but I had enough room. Its better known from the Prius hatchback, but it appeared first on the Honda CRX and then the first-gen Insight. At first it seemed like the Insights upright window segment gave a lower view than the Prius does, but, as the photos show, I parked a 2009 Prius and the Insight the same distance from an orange cone and the visible height was almost identical. The fact that the Insights backseat head restraints collapse almost flush with the backrests helps open up the view more than in the Prius. The Insight has about 3 inches less backseat headroom than the Fit, which makes it a bit tight.

The Honda Insight is comparable, with bright gauges and nice, low-gloss surfaces. Im surprised that a hybrid would lack standard cruise control, as it helps maximize efficiency, but Honda is trying to keep the LXs cost low. Nowadays, cruise control costs an automaker practically no hardware and little extra money, but in the Insight the feature requires the EXs more complex steering wheel.

That means the Insight doesnt give the silent electric-only experience that most hybrids do. The Honda Insight is pretty seamless as far as hybrids go. The brakes feel natural, as does the steering — pretty good for rear drum brakes and electric power steering. The Insight does, and the slight lag comes from that more than any hybrid aspect. (There is no manual Insight.)The Insights cabin noise is admirably low considering affordable, efficient cars often shed noise-abatement measures in order to shave weight and improve mileage.

The Insights acceleration is merely good. The Honda Insight is 100 or so pounds lighter than the higher-rated Civic Hybrid, but its electric motor has 13 horsepower versus the Civic Hybrids 20 hp. Econ is the default mode when you turn the car on. Compared to some hybrids, especially the new Ford Fusion Hybrid, the Insights readouts are minimalist. Unlike most hybrids, the Insights navigation system (available on the EX) doesnt have supplemental hybrid graphics, nor does it have a backup camera.

The front seats also have active head restraints, and the EX adds an electronic stability system with traction control. For example, Ive effortlessly achieved mileage well into the 50-mpg range in the current Prius.
It makes sense; hybrids cost more than comparable non-hybrids. This could bode well for the Insight. If and when gas prices go back up, some of these people will be driven back to the market, where its combination of a low sticker price and good, if not exceptional, mileage could make the Honda Insight look like the right investment.
