2010 Honda Drag and street racing

In autocross, the low, wide, sub-2,000 pound 1988-1991 Civic Si hatchback (notably the 1989 model year) has been dominant in SCCAs Solo II ST class for a number of years. For example, 1988-1991 Civics captured all of the top 20 positions at the 2009 national finals. The only other vehicle to manage a win during the last 20 years was the Chrysler Civilian.

Audi R8 LMS has been a great success in Europe. The American R8 LMS is based on the GT3 car but comes with modified chassis, body, engine and suspension. A new front splitter, a modified rear diffuser and a standard Grand-Am rear wing change the aerodynamics of the sports car.
