Mazda2 Electric Vehicle Lease Programme

Mazda Motor Corporation (MMC) provides rental for electric cars Mazda2 EV or Mazda Demio EV. The program will begin in October 2012 only in Japan.

Mazda rent them out to government agencies and fleet users. There are 100 units, which is preferred for local governments, corporations around the Chugoku, Western Japan where Mazdas headquarters office.

Mazda2 unveils EV cruising to 200 km. Developed the concept independently developed electric vehicle lithium-ion battery juxtaposed efficient and electric motors specially formulated by Mazda. Claimed to be providing an aggressive force, capable handling and ride comfort.

"Through the lease program, Mazda intends to get an electric car propulsion technology knowledge and use of these products to customers," MMC said in a statement.

The battery takes 8 hours to be fully charged at the normal charging. By using the Fast Charge we only need 40 minutes to charge 80%.
