2012 GMC Terrain

GMC Terrain
GMC Terrain
Summary
Terrain is one of the junior member of the GMC family, smaller than the second crossover (Acadia others). GMC Terrain coming back for Model Year 2012 with minor changes. 2012 Terrain to get a little change but the important bit, the GMC Terrain 2012 has a higher cost of goods sold, but the buyer gets a prominent exterior, rearview camera Standard & many places passengers. The 2012 GMC Terrain is available in four trim levels: SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1 and SLT-2.

Interior
for a brand that is rooted in hard-working truck brokers, GMC designers have done an outstanding job of providing a classy interior with clear GMC Terrain. His style is sleek and modern, and assumes that it comes with a number of standard high-tech features, including standard interfaces, touch-screen 7-inch sound and camera view mirror. Unfortunately the number of buttons that are grouped near the dashboard may be difficult to complete a glance. What has not changed is like riding smooth and stylish interiors expensive then this is also whisper quiet thanks to generous use of acoustic insulation and high-tech noise-canceling system. The cabin also gets high marks for passenger comfort, with a space almost like a secondary crossover SUVs like the Ford Edge.

Performance
engine performance at a price. This plain is so expensive because it comes with many standard features, but check with the hope that it will tweak the GMC Terrain a four-cylinder and V6 engine options standard. Underpowered four-cylinder and a test driver even said horsepower V6 engine misleading. Based on the car, there are four-cylinder engine with direct injection 2.4-liter, 182 hp do. Luxury version has a 264-hp, 3.0-liter direct-injected V-6. Both worked together for a six-speed automatic that the experience could use some improvement over the shift points and gear at the swap itself. After digging deep into the four-cylinder engine, and you probably will find it has plenty of power for almost every need, we think V-6 is only required if you always fill the seat of the Terrain, or maxing in a six-cylinder 3500 - pound towing capacity.

Safety
2012 GMC Terrain comes standard with ABS brakes, stability and traction control, front seat side impact air bags, side curtain airbags, rearview camera and OnStar. In Edmunds brake testing, a four-cylinder Terrain to stop from 60 mph in 121 feet. A heavy V6 models run the same tasks in 127 feet. Good results both for the segment.

Competitors for consideration
Terrain is the best alternative to the Toyota RAV4 because it is more interesting, but it looks good then you will give more interior space and utilitarian features. Terrain peak RAV4 in cargo space and have something no Terrain: an additional third row can accommodate two children comfortably. Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain is a sister company, and is a good choice if Terrain is outside your price range because high base price.

The 2012 GMC Terrain has a lot going for it, but the same can be spelled out for some of its competitors in the compact crossover segment. In particular, we would suggest driving back-to-back with rivals like the Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester and Toyota RAV4.
