    Suzuki Splash Official Images Released

Carscoop Splash 4 Suzuki Splash: Official Images Released
Following the revelation of Opel’s Agila earlier today, Suzuki released the first pictures of the Splash mini that will debut along with the Agila at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Theoretically, the Suzuki’s new mini which is based on the Swift platform is closely related to last year’s Splash Concept, however, design-wise we see very little in common between the two. Since the Agila is based on the Splash with very few optical differences like the redesigned front-end and rear light-clusters, there’s no difference in dimensions (3.740 mm in length, 1.680 mm in width and 1.590 mm in height). Likewise, the engine range will consist of three engines, two petrol 1.0 & 1.2-liter delivering 65 and 86 Hp respectively and one 1.3-liter common-rail turbodiesel with 75 Hp. The Splash is expected to go on sale in Europe next spring

With the Splash, a new fresh and exciting small passenger car, Suzuki Motor Corporation intends to gain a significant market share in this growing market segment in Europe. The new flexible compact car combines the sportiness of Suzuki’s successful model Swift with the technologies and immense know-how of the Japanese world market leader in the mini car segment. The Splash is not the successor of any specific former Suzuki model, but a brand-new concept to satisfy the needs of demanding European customers in terms of roominess, compactness, modern design, aerodynamics, quality, driveability, performance and environmental friendliness. The safety equipment encompasses state-of-the-art features such as six airbags and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP®*). It looks fresh, energetic, juvenile and emotional and thereby underlines the aspiration of its name Splash. Within the global growth strategy of Suzuki, the Splash is already the fourth entirely new model within three years after the launch of Swift, Grand Vitara and SX4 which all embody Suzuki’s unique ‘Way of Life!’-philosophy.
Within this market segment, the car convinces with a relatively tall body (1.6 metres) based on the chassis from the sporty Swift. With its overall length of 3.7 metres and width of 1.7 metres it offers an amply tall and comfortable roomy cabin with sufficient legroom for adults on all seats. Its modern design leads to excellent aerodynamic efficiency and consequently to low carbon-dioxide emissions.
The Splash will make its worldwide debut at the International Motor Show in September in Frankfurt am Main. Sales of the car with its excellent ride comfort will start as of spring 2008. It will be available with two different petrol engines: a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, 12-valve unit with maximum power of 48kW (65hp) and a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve unit with maximum power of 63kW (86hp). With these engines, low friction and plentiful flat torque delivery at low and mid-range speeds help to ensure good driveability across the rev range while promoting fuel economy and limiting CO2 emissions. Customers preferring a diesel engine can choose a proven 1.3-litre, common rail, 16-valve unit with optional particulate filter and a maximum power of 55kW (75hp). In light of the growing need for environmental compatibility, emissions of all three engines with 5-speed manual gearbox are between only 120g/km and 140g/km. The petrol engines were both newly developed by Suzuki Motor Corporation as next-generation power engines. The diesel engine will be produced at Suzuki’s plant in India under licence from GM Powertrain Europe.
Suzuki aims to sell up to 60,000 units per year of the Splash in Europe. The brand-new model has been developed by Suzuki Motor Corporation and will be produced by its subsidiary company Magyar Suzuki Corporation in Hungary.

Suzuki Kizashi Revealed – Hybrid Model to Follow Mega Gallery with 100 High Res Photos

2010 kizashi location Image Photo M 05 2010 Suzuki Kizashi Revealed Hybrid Model to Follow: Mega Gallery with 100 High Res Photos

The production version of the Suzuki Kizashi sedan was officially revealed today in a special launch event in Detroit. Built at Suzuki’s new manufacturing plant in Sagara, Japan, the Kizashi will serve as the company’s flagship model when it arrives in North American showrooms this winter. Available in both front- and all-wheel drive versions, Suzuki’s Mazda6 and VW Passat rival will initially be offered with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine linked to either a 6-speed manual transmission or optionally, a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

While the Japanese automaker did not disclose any output figures for the base four-cylinder engine, Suzuki did reveal that other powertrain options are also under development for the Kizashi including a fuel efficient hybrid version that will be added to the lineup in the very near future.

Built on a brand-new platform, the Kizashi features MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link setup in the back with Suzuki supporting that the sedan will offer drivers “a dynamic and exhilarating driving experience”.

An Electronic Stability Program and anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution as well as the Suzuki-developed synergetic vehicle dynamic control system that assists drivers control will be offered as standard on the Kizashi.
Measuring in at 183.1 in. (4,650 mm) long, 71.7 in. (1,820 mm) wide and 58.3 in. (1,480 mm) high with a wheelbase of 106.3 in. (2,700mm), the Kizashi is roughly the same size as the latest generation Audi A4 Sedan.
Despite the fact that the Kizashi originated from the Concept Kizashi series introduced over the last two years, the production model’s styling is far less dramatic, which is a shame as the concept study featured an extremely well executed design that received positive reactions from European and North American consumers alike.
As for the mid-size sedan’s interior, Suzuki’s designers crafted an elegant looking dashboard that features an Alfa Romeo-esque instrument panel with two deeply set gauges and an uncluttered center console.
More details as well as North American prices are expected to be released closer to the sedan’s sales launch in December. Suzuki has yet to announce when the Kizashi will arrive in other international markets.

          2012 Suzuki Swift Sport Review

The 2012 Suzuki Swift has developed a little in length and 2012 Suzuki Swift has a 50mm boost wheelbase. 2012 Suzuki Swift for the powertrain, new 2012 Swift had a 1.2-liter gasoline engine, which combines VVT.

Suzuki has finally revealed details about the most anticipated 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport. The engine carries pumped up brawny traits that will make it roll on the road like a speed machine. The front portion has been draped with features an aggressive, managed to bring an instant impression.
          2012 Suzuki Swift Sport
          2012 Suzuki Swift

The curvy model’s styling has fetched heavy inspiration from the S-concept. The pretty creation will cause ripples when it hits the roads. Swift Sport will offer a many security, safety features in it. The coupe will come with improved suspension and an outstanding back suspension arrangement.

A powerful engine will ensure a much better on-road experience and make the gas-guzzling beast move at high speed. Suzuki Swift Sport will be a suitable choice in the small the car category, thanks to the awesome handling and high quality car. Moreover, upgraded safety features will make the car stand out of the crowd and worth buying.

Some may say unfortunate not to take its nameplate from the original Suzuki Swift GTi – a car that so perfectly embodied the term ‘Affordable hot hatch’ – because the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport is a cracking piece of kit, on and off the track.

If there were any criticism at all to be leveled at the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport, a bit conservative approach to the new car’s styling. The new Swift Sport is not only more aggressive at front end, but encouraged Style too with dark fog ambient light, complete with aero foil.

You’ll also appreciate the efforts of Suzuki’s interior design team to install one of the better sports leather steering wheels in the Swift Sport with audio, cruise and Bluetooth controls. Apart from the seats, there is precious little soft touch materials used in Suzuki Swift Sport, but the general finish and a combination the various plastics looks good. While the Swift Sport isn’t a sprint star, 8.1 seconds from 0-100km/h in this class, is more than respectable. If the Swift Sport’s straight-line performance is perfect, then what has been achieved in the ride and handling department is no less than a revelation and a textbook lesson on chassis engineering in the light car class.

First up, there’s no body roll, regardless of how hard you push the Swift Sport and how tight the turn-ins are. Suzuki engineers have made some front suspension enhancements that have resulted in a better yaw response for faster and more direct steering.

In fact, it’s the steering response and directness that set the Swift Sport from any other vehicle in the light car class. Equally reassuring is the car’s straight-line tracking at high speed along a poorly maintained country road. One of the key benefits to using a small displacement powertrain in a lightweight body is low fuel consumption and the Swift Sport doesn’t disappoint. It’s difficult to find fault with the Suzuki Swift Sport the latest, such as the width of the ability of almost any condition.
on a level playing field in the highly competitive light car class, there is nothing that can come close to the latest Suzuki Swift Sport.
